All-in-one hospitality
The owner family runs a restaurant, an inn, and small onsen altogether in their beautiful log house. The wooden interior and warm decor give you a feel of staying in a mountain cottage. There is a big fireplace that keeps customers warm in severe winter of Hokkaido.
Local food Restaurant
On the ground floor, you can have homey meals made with locally sourced ingredients. Or just enjoy a relaxing time with a cup of tea or coffee. I have had one of their signature menus, a grilled chicken plate. It was juicy, tender, and delicious.
Fried pork with ginger sauce and homemade hamburger steak are also recommended.
Budget-Friendly COZY CINN
The upper floor has simple, comfortable rooms to stay in. If you’re traveling to Shiretoko on a budget and looking for inexpensive accommodation, this would be a nice place to tuck in for a relaxing night’s sleep before continuing on your trip.
There are shared bathrooms and a fridge in a common area. The price starts from 5,650 yen per night, depending on the season. You can check their availability and book a room on their website.
Dipping in A Natural hot spring
Shiretoko Club is famous for the quality of its in-house onsen. The hot spring water flows in directly from the source and makes skin smooth, attracting many onsen enthusiasts.
You don’t have to stay at the inn to enjoy the onsen. Drop-in is just 400 yen!
You can also find local crafts and souvenirs at the restaurant. Don’t forget to check them out!
